WEST SIDE IS BRINGING THE "THUNDER AND LIGHTING" THIS SEASON:   The first weekend of play in PVJSL started August 28-29, and was a huge success!  The oldest girls team - The West Side Thunderbolts - opened with a 4-0 victory over their chief rival Northampton.  The youngest teams - The West Side Lightning and the West Side Strikers - opened at home with an exciting Saturday of 2-2 and 1-1 games vs older competition.  See News section for more opening weekend results.

THE CLUB

WSYSC participates in the Pioneer Valley Junior Soccer League (PVJSL) offering competitive soccer for the youth of West Springfield, Massachusetts.  The club strives to provide to each member:  A place to learn the value of sportsmanship and teamwork;  A supportive, learning atmosphere with excellent coaches;  and An opportunity to play competitive soccer against other towns in the Pioneer Valley area.  This is to be accomplished through organized soccer play and programs designed to provide both a fun and challenging atmosphere.
